A merchant's house, kept plain
Built in 1840, empty for thirty years, opened again in 2016.
How the house is run
Two of us live on the ground floor and look after the rooms ourselves. Everything in the house was either here already or made within an hour of it. We do not take group bookings and we do not have a lift, which are the two things worth knowing before you write.
